Forget Dereks Approach Exhibition

Exhibition Went down like an EXPLOSION!

started up like something small! then exploded into something quite made :D [PS Labels are actually very important in every exhibition]

Thanks to a couple of friends from my class we got some awesome Live Drawing done! they just let us draw on the walls!

We didn't get that much time, and i ran out of ink a couple of times but it still went pretty cool!

The show went pretty good, good turn out, MAD organising but sometimes having a small amount of work works really well went placed right.

So year this piece was created for an exhibition me and my class mates are putting up at our uni soon! should be good. i need to work more with colour! getting a bit flat! textures are always a good help to keep things looking interesting...

Its been a while since i enjoyed Digital painting. The textures are usually a good way of adding that much needed traditional looking touch to the work, make it look less Photoshopy...

Black History Month exhibition

beddow ‘n’ Battini and The University of East London are collaborating on a Twist Lesson on Black History Month.

Remember the days in Primary or Secondary school? Big Letters on the Black/White Board, saying… “BLACK HISTORY MONTH”.

Underneath you’d see see the typical names: Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Rosa Parks – The usual stuff back then.

Black History is important, but what exactly is the month dedicated to? Who put it there? And what do we actually get from it?

All we know is that Opinions are vast.. and we like to express ourselves. So take this exhibition as a eye opener to what different Story tellers feel about the Month that is BLACK HISTORY.

Changes had to be Made....

Life as an illustrator. when your finally happy with something the client is gonna turn around and tell you that they want something changed. This is why PHOTOSHOP WAS MADE! Thank God i can be Adaptable!

They wanted less colours used and because they only wanted it to be put through the printer once 3 times i had to make some adjustments

They Basically Said that the Gradient for this wasnt going to help the Printing costs.... and considering we were getting it for free.... you gotta be a little less ambitious :P
