At the moment im not really thinking about what the toy will do, more about how i can relate it to what im doing. maybe i should make it have moving arms, or maybe i should make it cuddly. 
two things that kids have. ACTION FIGURES and SOFT TOYS. Well maybe i should look at what part of child hood before i make that desicion, since as you get older, i think action figures make more sence.

i found a really cool website that works with vinyl toys really well, you can buy them from here, but since trhey have a massive selection it could be of some use.
only problem with vinyl toys is that they dont necessaryly represent children, more adults who like to collect things... well see what i can gather/make. collecting things from childhood can actually help me with the designing.
